I am a huge fan of Keith Emerson. I liked ELP in the 70s but when he released his Piano Concerto I was captivated. When he died in 2016, the tributes to him were overwhelming. He is very sadly missed by so many. In July of 2017 I went to a tribute concert organised by his great friend Jim Davidson. The entire audience of mostly portly middle aged men sobbed throughout. Every day I listen to his music.
This drawing is from a photo of Keith Emerson in 1977 taken by Jon Sievert and the first drawing I did after discovering I could draw. As I finished it I couldn't see for tears.
